Crowned Best Newcomer at the 2010 Chortle Awards and Chortle’s Student Comedian of 2009, Joe is a hugely talented up-and-coming comedian with an unaffected, relaxed and effortless stage presence. An appealing, engaging and natural performer, have led him to progress rapidly since his first gig at the Comedy Store in Manchester in February 2008.

In March 2010, Joe made his television debut in BBC3’s stand-up and sketch pilot Laughter Shock. He returned to the channel later that year as a talking head on Most Annoying People 2010 and recently co-hosted BBC1’s new 6-part flag-ship entertainment show Epic Win alongside Alexander Armstrong, as well as guest appearances on Chris Addison’s new E4 series Show and Tell and Channel 4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats. In November 2011, Joe was announced as one of the four panellists on E4’s Dirty Digest, a new late night comedy show which revels in all the latest news and gossip from the world of fame and celebrity.

In August 2011, Joe performed as part of the renowned Comedy Reserve produced by the Pleasance Theatre at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
