One
of the most original and distinctive stars on television, radio,
stage and now the big screen, Jimmy has enjoyed several hugely
successful years; this year being no exception.
Jimmy
is currently touring his all-new stand-up show entitled ‘Repeat
Offender’ which was launched at the 2007 Edinburgh Festival
where it played a sell-out run.
This is Jimmy’s greatest tour yet, exceeding even the
massively successful Gag
Reflex tour which played to over 200,000 fans.
Repeat Offender
is getting bigger by the day as new dates are constantly being
added due to huge demand.
Jimmy’s
first two DVDs have sold well in excess of 300,000 copies. His
all-new stand-up DVD, Comedian,
(available in shops now) is packed with lots of original extras
that fans have come to expect from Jimmy’s DVDs; including a
sketch show made especially for the DVD.
The
main show is a combination of Jimmy’s 2005 Off
The Telly and 2006 British Comedy Award-winning Gag Reflex show and is selling even faster than his previous DVDs.
Jimmy
will shortly be hosting Commercial Breakdown on BBC1 where Jimmy
will offer his own hilarious and incisive view on a collection of
the world's weirdest and funniest television adverts, due to hit
screens later this year. Other recent televison appearances include A Question
of Sport Relief, Big Brother Celebrity Hijack, The Big Fat Quiz of
the Year
and Have I Got News for You.
Furthermore,
Jimmy's international profile is growing with his comedy series
Distraction currently being repeated on Comedy Central whilst
Jimmy has enjoyed several appearances on both The Tonight Show
with Jay Leno and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. In
July Jimmy performed at the
Montreal
‘Just for Laughs’ Comedy Festival for his fourth time,
performing his full length show Gag
Reflex across six sell out nights.
