Jimmy Carr records brand new episodes of Channel 4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, plus Sky1’s A League Of Their Own and Duck Quacks Don’t Echo

Hardest working man in comedy Jimmy Carr has a typically hectic month ahead, with a series of TV records and live dates ahead.

He will be holding court over the usual mix of letters, numbers and funny as he hosts brand new episodes of 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, recording this month for Channel 4. You can watch previous episodes of the show here.

He’ll also be joining our very own Jack Whitehall for sports and jokes on A League Of Their Own and Lee Mack for some fact-based flights of fancy on Duck Quacks Don’t Echo, both recording this month for Sky1. To round off a very busy month of TV for Jimmy, he’ll also be recording an episode of classic favourite Through The Keyhole for ITV1.

In other Jimmy news, he’ll be making a welcome return to the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal this July, appearing in both the Brit-ish and Nasty Show line-ups at the festival. You can find out more about the shows and book tickets here.

David O’Doherty is coming to a town near you! The Bad Boy Of Zumba will be bringing his show We Are All in the Gutter, But Some of Us Are Looking at David O’Doherty to a series of UK dates kicking off in October.

David O’Doherty, the Lidl Enya, the broken Bublé, is delighted to present a new evening of talking and songs played on a stupid keyboard from 1986. Life is like a box of chocolates, but one where somebody else has eaten all the chocolates. And replaced them with mouse heads and dishwasher tablets.

Sarah Millican to record an episode of Sky1’s Duck Quacks Don’t Echo, plus makes debut appearance at Montreal Just For Laughs Festival

Joe Lycett to appear on 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, plus Edinburgh Fringe 2015 and tour

Self-professed ‘absolute lad’ and halloumi enthusiast Joe Lycett will be joining Jimmy Carr and gang for letters, numbers and hilarity as he returns to 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, recording this month for Channel 4.

In other Joe news, he will be making a welcome return to the Edinburgh Fringe in August with brand new show That’s The Way, A-Ha A-Ha, Joe Lycett. Joe will be performing Tuesday-Sunday throughout the Fringe at 8pm at the Pleasance Cabaret Bar. You can find tickets and more info here.

Stuart Goldsmith makes Just For Laughs debut, plus returns to Edinburgh Fringe and brings The Comedian’s Comedian Live to Soho Theatre

Stuart Goldsmith will be bringing brand new show An Hour to the Edinburgh Fringe this August, performing daily at Canon’s Gait (Venue 78) from 8th-30th (except 19th) August at 4.55pm. You can find out more about the show here.

Stuart will also be interviewing a series of the most notable names in UK comedy and beyond, as he brings The Comedian’s Comedian Podcast to the Fringe for a fourth time. You can catch the show on from the 16th-29th (except 19th) of August at Black Medicine. (Venue 355)
